It apparently settled into the power supply of the computer and when the machine was turned on, it tried to exit. This proved to be fatal. It's not clear if it died from electric shock or the exhaust fan in the power supply. However, it did make a lot of noise and prompted a call for technical support. The customer told the technician their computer was making a lot of unusual sounds and was "hissing". I don't think the technician on the phone ever believed the hissing sound being reported could actually be from a snake......
